Easy Access – Also for Wheelchair or Walking Aid
Our practice is designed to be as accessible as possible, so that patients – with or without mobility limitations – feel welcome and well cared for.
Convenient Arrival
Parking spaces are available directly at the building. The most convenient parking area for the practice is P1. A site plan can be found at rez.de.
If you are travelling by public transport, the Heimstetten S-Bahn station is fully accessible, so you can reach our practice comfortably and without barriers.
Entrance & Elevator
- Our practice is located on the 2nd floor of a well-maintained older building. An elevator is available to make access easier.
- Please note: The elevator does not fully meet the current DIN standards for full accessibility – the door is about 80 cm wide, and the cabin measures 1 × 2 m. For most wheelchairs this is sufficient. Should it ever be too tight, we are happy to assist you personally.
- The entrance doors do not open automatically – but we are always glad to help.
- There is a small ramp at the entrance, which only bridges a curb height. Alternatively, you can reach the entrance without using the ramp by taking a short detour around the corner of the building near the flower shop and the Subway restaurant.
Practice Rooms – Fully Accessible
Our practice rooms themselves are fully accessible:
- All doors have a clear passage width of at least 90 cm, providing plenty of space for larger aids.
- There are no steps, no thresholds and no stairs – all areas are on one level and step-free.
- A height-adjustable examination couch with an extra low entry height makes transfers easier.
- Our reception desk is designed so that seated patients can easily handle all formalities.
Accessible Restroom
A spacious, accessible restroom is available on-site:
- The toilet has foldable side support bars for safe transfers.
- The washbasin is easily reachable and designed for wheelchair users.
- The entire restroom is step-free and provides enough space for turning and assistance.
Comfortable Orientation
All rooms are evenly and brightly illuminated. Floors, walls and furniture have good contrast – this makes orientation much easier.
We want you to feel comfortable and well looked after – please feel free to let us know at any time if you need any help. We are always happy to assist you!
