Certain activities like competitive sports, playing instruments, manual work or repetitive tasks can overload or compress nerves. Early diagnostics help detect possible problems in time and prevent permanent damage.
Do you offer preventive check-ups for professionals, athletes or musicians?
Yes. We offer individual preventive and early detection examinations, especially for people with an increased risk of nerve damage – for example musicians, craftsmen, surgeons, dentists, competitive athletes or professionals with high physical demands. These examinations are usually self-funded.
Can I have my arm nerves checked preventively even without symptoms?
Yes, we can carry out a preventive check-up of your arm nerves on request to detect possible entrapment or risk factors early – even if you currently have no complaints. These preventive examinations are billed transparently according to the German medical fee schedule (GOÄ). We are happy to inform you in advance about the expected costs.
Does my insurance cover these examinations?
Preventive check-ups are often not covered by health insurance. We are required to invoice our medical services according to the German fee schedule for doctors (GOÄ). We will gladly inform you about the expected costs in advance.
